Family, Pictures and Paula Deen

So Saturday was a full day for me. My mom and I traveled to Brookhaven for a reception celebrating my Uncle John & Aunt Yvonne's 50th wedding anniversary. How awesome is that? 50 years and they are still going strong. Mom and I had to serve cake, which I asked my cousin if she was sure she wanted the prego girl serving food. Needless to say, I served and didn't even get a piece. Not fair. It was a really nice reception, lots of people came to celebrate with them.

Pictures - cousin-in-law Les was about to get it. he kept taking my picture. All my life, when I get my picture taken I suck in the gut or hide behind people. I despise having my picture taken. Well I was standing there thinking, 'this stinks, b/c I can't suck in my gut and they are making me stand on the end'. I was a little uneasy but I did it. My ever growing belly isn't something I really want too many pictures of.

Paula Deen - I laughed so hard - I was glad I was sitting b/c I almost peed myself. I just love her. I could sit and listen to her all day. but not sitting in a metal chair. my butt hurt so bad by the time we left the coliseum. but it was worth it. I've been begging Chip to take a vacation to Savannah, GA. I would love to eat at her restaurant.

Ok needless to say it was a long day and I loved it.

Sunday we got Baby's Bed, rocking chair, and high chair. All hand-me-downs of course but just as good. We are trying to conserve money. we just don't know what is going to happen.
