ok I'm confused. how old is my kid?
today is 2 months from the date of his birth 7/29/2009 - 9/29/2009
but tomorrow he will be 9 weeks old.
how do you measure his age?
It's very confusing.
Just something I've been pondering.

survived daycare - week 1
ok so by friday we were on a regular schedule and all was good. then saturday happened. Wyatt didn't know what to do, he was with his momma all day. we went shopping and hung out while daddy went to the MS State game. we were jealous b/c we really wanted to go to the game but the weather was yucky. so we bought new toys.
I'm interested to see how this week goes. Saturday he was a little messed up b/c I think he got used to being around the other children then all weekend he was stuck listening to me talking to him. Sunday was much better and he slept so good last night.
He is getting so big, I can't believe it.

Wyatt is 8 weeks today
oh my goodness time flies. My baby is 8 weeks old today. he is getting so big. I can't believe it. So much has happened over the last week. First we are without a computer at home so I'm updating from work which means no pics yet.
updates -
last week started out great and took a stressful turn. Tuesday I loaded Wyatt up and headed to Dr Freeman for his shots. I was a little stressed b/c I was all by myself and I prayed the whole way there that I wouldn't cry and that I could be strong. Once we got there Dr Freeman came in and was checking out Wyatt and he took a little too much time listening to his heart. Well I got nervous. Dr Freeman, in his upbeat voice, said "I think I hear a heart murmur". I didn't panic until he said he was sending us to a Peds Cardiologist NOW! Panic set in. He called and set up an appt for us and off we went to UMC. I made it to the parking lot before having a complete nervous breakdown and calling my mom (Chip was out of town with work). Mom met us at UMC and we went to see Dr Gaymes. God was watching over us. They did an EKG and Echo, Wyatt screamed the entire time b/c they were messing with him. He doesn't want to be messed with.
well the diagnose was that he has a vessel that should close up at birth didn't close up. he is getting too much blood too his lungs. It's not life threatening. We go back in 6 weeks for the same tests and if no change then we go back when he's 6 months and if still no change he will have surgery to repair it. Dr Gaymes said he will be 100% after the surgery. other than a small scar on his right leg, you won't even know he had surgery. It is definitely harder on me than him.
His doctors have been sent from God.
I went back & forth my entire pregnancy on which doctor I was going to use. I knew I wanted to use a male but my friend/water aerobics partner told me about Dr Freeman and I just had a feeling. a good feeling. I was right. I truly believe God sent us there for him to find Wyatt's problem.
Wednesday we had to go back to Dr Freeman for his shots. needless to say the shots were easy compared to the other stuff.
This week I started back to work and Wyatt started school. It's been hard but we are all adjusting.
I'm hoping to get to post pics soon. I need a new computer.
