Wyatt has been a great teether. No problems, a little fussy at times, but that's all.
Until now. The eye & stomach teeth are coming in and OMG they are killing him. He is drooling like a puppy dog. Chewing on everything. I feel so sorry for him. He's miserable.
My sweet boy is getting so big.

This year has been a whirlwind. I am so ready for it to be over. Move on to 2011 and pray for a very happy year to come. Lot's of sadness in 2010. Of course my sweet Dad went home with the Lord. On Oct 22nd Chip precious Grandma (Laverne Mathews) went dancing with the Lord. Grandma's service was that Monday. My 35th birthday was Thursday Oct 28th, and on the 29th my wonderful Mamaw (Audrey Smith) also went dancing with the Lord.
Needless to say it's been an emotional Fall and year.
The Lord is so Good.
I have faith that we all will make it through.
I'm grateful for my sweet little man. He is definitely the one thing that has gotten us through.
Watching him grow is amazing. He has so much personality and is very independent.
Oh and very opinionated. VERY!
So much has happened in the last few months.
New for Wyatt
He got top & bottom 1st year molars. Has front 4 teeth, top & bottom. Waiting on Eye & Stomach Teeth.
Almost walking. He's been pulling up for months but just now starting to get brave enough to take off. So cute. I bought him some squeaky shoes and he loves to stand and stomp. Loves to make noise.
He must eat with a fork. When I say must I mean MUST. He loves to stab his food and dip in ketchup or spaghetti sauce. or anything that he can dip in. I love it. He definitely got that from me. I love to dip my food.
Totally off the bottle. I waited until after his surgery to start pressing the issue b/c I didn't want him to regress in the hospital and we have to start all over. So glad I waited. He actually took himself off the bottle. Began refusing it and I went with it. Such a proud mama. He took himself off formula at 11 months and we went to milk. Now he won't drink milk. I am lost as to what to do. I've tried adding juice, chocolate syrup, strawberry syrup and even Soy Vanilla Milk (b/c he loves vanilla ice cream). Nothing works. I'm not going to fight that either. I just keep trying. He loves Juice. juice juice juice!! I've learned from my wonderful friends to pick my battles. Wyatt eats really good. He loves his veggies & eats a lot of chicken so he's getting his nutrients. I just need to start making him eat cereal or ice cream to get that calcium. But again, not fighting this battle. This too shall pass. Next week he will probably stop eating chicken nuggets and then I'm in trouble.
He already wants a cell phone, my child loves electronics. I told my mom not to start it but she didn't listen. ha ha!! He thinks he must have her phone if it is in sight. Even if she is using it. Doesn't matter that she is talking, he throws a fit. It's so funny. I know I shouldn't laugh.
He is sleeping in our bed. I said I would NEVER let him do that. He got sick a few weeks ago and wouldn't sleep anywhere but on me and I was exhausted. I needed sleep. BAD. so in the bed he went. that's where we are now. and again, another battle I'm not going to fight. I like my sleep and if this is the way I get it, then I'm ok with that. Now if in a year he's still in my bed. Lord help me. but now, we are all sleeping. and in a queen size bed. We need a bigger bed.
Now it's Turkey time and I'm so excited. I love the Fall. I love spending time with family. I love my family.

Wyatt was being very quite, I was watching TV and I looked over and this is what I found.
I jumped up and ran so fast, at least without scaring him.
He thought he was a big boy. and He is!

It's our thursday date night tradition. I love this time. We meet up with Carla & Addison Morgan and we have dinner then head to swimming lessons. We love this time together. Carla & I get to talk and the kids are getting to spend time together. I love that Wyatt will grow up with great friends. This week we had to go to Zaxby's b/c ChicFilA has closed for remodeling. It was good but no ChicFilA. But Wyatt will eat chicken nuggets no matter where they are from.

We took Wyatt to the fair for the first time this year and he loved walking around seeing everything.
I took him on the carosel and he wasn't too sure of it. It went really fast, I even got a little nauseous. Then Chip took him on the ferris wheel. He wasn't too happy it kept stopping and starting but once it was going all the time he loved it. We had a great time with great friends.

He will be walking before I know it. His favorite teacher, Ms Crook, is working with him on balance and control. She gets on the floor and helps him. She's awesome. And has been a true blessing. So it won't be long before he gets brave & takes off.

first popsicle all by himself
He loved it and was grunting for another one after it was gone.
Needless to say he ate the popsicle in the wagon with no shirt on.
Then straight to the bathtub afterward.

Had to go to cardiologist Dr Ebeid's office for a work up for Wyatt's heart cath on August 31st. I'm so ready to get it over with. Today they needed to take measurements of his heart and arteries. It was torture and I'm being nice. It was awful. First he had a chest x-ray, then an ECHO, then an EKG. He screamed thru all of it. I was sweating from holding him down and the stress of it all. We talked to the surgeon and signed all the consent forms and then Dr Ebeid wanted one more measurement, so off we go for another ECHO. I was horrified that we had to do it again. After it was finally over he was tired and passed out when we finally got in the car. Was not happy to go to school. I just wanted to hold him all day. But I'm sure after a good nap and lunch he was fine. I just hate having to watch him go thru all that. And they should come up with a better way of doing those procedures on little kids.
Hopefully tonight he will sleep better than last night. I'm so ready for all this to be over with.
We report to Blair E Batson at 8am on August 31st in the Cath Lab. It will take a few hours for them to complete the procedure then we will spend the night and get up the next day, have another chest x-ray, ECHO, and EKG. If everything looks good, we go home.
Just pray everything goes smoothly.
This is a major procedure and nothing is 100% risk free.

we were sitting in the car eating chicken nuggets and waiting to go to swimming lessons. We had the best time playing in the car. Wyatt was such a big boy. He was so curious about everything in the front seat. I love having that time with him. We spend a lot of time together since Chip works the evening shift but it's still not just the two of us, or it's in the middle of the night. So the night of swim lessons is my favorite time.
