A beautiful day in the neighborhood...

So the month of May is almost over and I can't believe it. I'm not ready for the hot weather but here it comes. I'm begging Chip to buy me a pool. Just big enough that I can float and my butt doesn't touch the bottom.
We are also trying to add a deck to our backyard. I love to have cookouts and summer gatherings and we have no where to hang out. our poor yard is grassless and it needs some help. the dogs hate it b/c they search all over the yard just for a place to potty. daisy really hates it b/c she doesn't like to get too far from the back door. but she's my baby and i love her.

ok enough for today. i may need to try and find something to do.

Friends, Family & Cows

Ok so I have to brag on my nephew Tyler. I went to his baseball game last night and he hit the ball all the way to the fence and they got 3 runs off of that one hit. how awesome is that. He's only 8 years old and he is going to be a great athlete. But of course you know I'm bias. He's a great kid.

I can honestly say that I love my family, with all the craziness that they bring. They are awesome.

Ok where we are living our house backs up to a pasture. which we love b/c it makes you feel like you aren't living in a subdivision rather in the country. We have a honeysuckle vine growing on our fence and the cows love it. they come right up to the fence and graze for hours. It's interested to watch what God has created for us to sit and admire. how great is that. just more verification of his wonderful goodness.
