tuesday ramblings....

ok so i'm so bored right now i would rather clean a toilet than sit around doing nothing. this stinks. so it's less than 2 days til thanksgiving and i am so excited. i'm not sure if it is for the fact that i have the day off or b/c i get to spend some time with my sweet granny. i'm traveling to brookhaven and chip is going to his parents house. so we are planning date night for Thursday night. just the two of us and some leftovers. i think that is the part i'm so excited about.
with him working nights we never get to spend time together except on the weekends. but even then we are always pulled in several different directions.

i'm so thankful to have my sweet hubby and i am ready to get the holidays started.

have you finished Christmas shopping? me either. almost though.
i have to get chip something and he is so hard to buy for. he never wants anything or needs anything. and the things he mentions are always way over our budget. we have extravagant tastes. it's a curse. ha ha!! anyway, i'm ready to finish so i don't have to worry about it anymore.

ok i know i'm rambling.
say a prayer that Thursday isn't a gorge fest. i've been trying to eat healthy and have done a really great job. i just don't want one day to ruin it. don't get me wrong i plan on eating and enjoying myself but i have to know when to leave the table. it's so hard b/c that is where we usually end up sitting and talking and laughing all day long. pray i can resist. people keep telling me to chew gum so i'm not tempted. but you have to remember that my Orthodontist won't like that idea, so i'll have to find another alternative. maybe sugar free peppermint candies.

maybe tonight on the Biggest Loser they will have some tips to staying away from the table this year. i'm addicted to that show. i love it.
