OK Trustmark is hosting a health fair for employees with free flu shots, cholesterol & sugar & triglycerides (too much fast & fried foods) checks, BMI, check your eyes.
1st - I always get my flu shot. I'm not a good sick person and you don't want me to get sick. especially with the flu. my arm is a little sore but I'll live.
2nd - there is no way in the world I'm going to let someone from my work weigh me, tell me my BMI or how bad my cholesterol is. i already know that I'm fat, lets not ruin a good day.
people were in that room lined up like cattle to get weighed and they weren't crying. i would have been crying like a baby. there is no sense is actually knowing the real number. i like being in denial, it's my favorite vacation spot.
3rd - i already know that i eat way too much fast/fried foods. which I'm in the process of rectifying, but let's not kid ourselves. I've only eaten healthy for the past 2 months. i have years of damage in my blood. don't really want to see that number either.
saying all that to say this, i will be flu free this year. better be!
with a BMI of whatever my fantasy world wants it to be. ha ha!!
