Thanksgiving 2012

We are so blessed

Thanksgiving Day at my cousin Sondra's with all the McTaggart's, Vanover's, Stringer's, Dunn's & Long's.
Sounds like a lot of folks but it was perfect. I love going to Brookhaven and spending time with this group. I practically grew up in Sondra's house. Spent almost every summer there. I truly miss my Mawmaw. She would have loved seeing all the great grands playing in the front yard. Myles crying b/c he couldn't win, Symon and Tyler arguing who's turn it was, Wyatt running around like a crazy kid cherring everyone on, Bridget with her hubby. We are praying for a great/great/grand soon. Don't tell her I said that. I miss Jacob. He & Wyatt are kindred spirits. Wyatt loves baseball and I pray Wyatt takes up the sport as well as Jacob did. Jacob was awesome! I've known since the day Dr. Fulton told me August 18th was my due date that Jacob was and will always be Wyatt's guardian angel. I AM BLESSED!!

Friday after Thanksgiving, I had to work. We were so slow, so I got to decorate the branch for Christmas. I love decorating for Christmas. It makes me happy to celebrate all that is Christmas. This year is extra special b/c Wyatt understands more. And it was my dad's favorite time of year. After work, Chip & I had dinner with Mel, Barbara, Gary & Denee McKay. I love that I have gotten to reconnect with Barbara. I love her so and she is a blessing in my life.

Saturday was Thanksgiving with the Stringer Family at Mel's. It was a great day to spend with family we never get to see and just relax.
