Manners & Blessings

Have I mentioned that Wyatt is learning his manners. Yes ma'am, No ma'am, Yes sir, No sir, Please, Thank you - we have been working on these since birth. He does great.
But at school he is working on the in public manners. Pushing his chair under the table when you leave the table. Closing a door that you opened. Turning off lights. Taking turns. Cleaning up. Saying the blessing before we eat.
I am so pleased that he is learning these very important manners.
Problem is mom & dad are learning too. Apparently some of these manners did stick with mom & dad. Wyatt is quick to get on to us when we have not pushed out chair under the table or closed the doors.
Yes Mom gets in trouble all the time.

I'm so blessed to have a wonderful school for Wyatt. Granted his sweetness and generosity started at birth & Ms Dianna Renfroe helped perfect it. He's always been a kid that loved to help others. Oakdale is helping to mold him into a great Big Boy. I'm so blessed.

He is 3 years old and he says the blessing before we eat. He loves to sing 'Jesus Loves Me'. He loves to sing anything. He is going to be a teacher, he has been teaching Chip all his songs from school. Teaching him the motions and everything. He loves to read and look at books.

One thing I have noticed lately is he is making up his own song. He gets that from my Dad. My Dad was always walking around the house with his grandkids making up songs to sing them to sleep. We always would laugh at the things he would say. Now I miss that so much. He never got a chance to sing those crazy songs to Wyatt. So apparently Wyatt is singing to me & Chip. Wyatt will do something silly and it will remind me of my Dad. They would have been the best of buddies. I understand the Lord's plan but sometimes I have a hard time with it.

Remember to say the Blessing for meals and say Please & Thank you.
Very Important!
