Once again I'm a slacker mom. Actually just too busy, but I have to get better. Wyatt is so funny and I want to remember everything. Why & Whatcha doing & Where she going are his favorite questions. I want to scream. He's only 3 and I'm going crazy. Apparently I tell him too much, 'you're driving me nuts'. Because the other day I was asking a bunch of questions about school and he grabbed his face & said, 'you're driving me nuts mom.' I couldn't help but laugh. I know that's not what you are suppose to do but I couldn't help it.
I've been asking him for weeks to tell he the name of the kids in his class at school. He names Beckham, Blane, Jayce, Andrew, Andy and stops. Then I'll ask him about the girls in his class and he names his teacher, Ms Damita. Weeks go by and he gives me the same answer to that question every time I ask. With me thinking to myself, there has to be girls in his class, why doesn't he know them. Last week we go to Parent Night at school and we are in his class and I'm looking at the tables & boards and I realize Ms. Damita is the ONLY girl in his class. There are 8 boys. God Bless her. But he's been telling me for weeks his teacher was the only girl but he didn't know how to tell me. I laughed at myself. My child is so smart. Probably already smarter than I.
He is the biggest helper. Has to turn off the TV & lights. Likes to help with laundry. Loves to take a shower, doesn't want to take a bath anymore. But he won't let me get rid of his bath toys. Has to have fruit gummy snacks everyday along with popsicles. The boxes say they are both 100% juice, so that's healthy right. I guess I should be glad it isn't chips & candy. Thinks he needs medicine for everything. I blame that on too many sinus & ear infections & the changing weather. Completely potty trained as of the First of August, we have had a few accidents but nothing that was awful. He loves school.
Right now they are learning the days of the week & the months of the year and we go over them everyday on our way home from school. Then he will say, 'say with me' and he will start saying the days of the week. It goes like this, Sunday, Monday, Sunday Monday, Sunday, Monday.....He's a little stuck. He'll start saying the months of the year and he knows them but the order is a little off. April is before March. I don't argue. It's too cute at this point. Now in a few years if he's still doing it then we will need to find help.
He can count to 10 but always without fail skips 6. I'm not sure why b/c he will count his fingers and realize there is an extra and just repeat another number. But he always skips it.
Life with Wyatt is so much fun.
We have started soccer and tonight is our 2nd practice and the first game is on Saturday 9/29. The boys are going to look so cute in their uniforms Saturday. He is so excited. Wyatt thinks you should pick up the ball and place it where it needs to be to get a goal. That habit we need to break.
Grills = girls
took me a few days to figure that one out.
